Hoya 'Nathalie is a Mike Benardo hybrid, which is a cross of H. erythostemma with H. ‘Joy’. The plant was named in honor of Nathalie Evelinadotter Simonsson, now Nathalie Simonsson Juhonewe. This cross is known for its thick, softly textured leaves and beautifully symmetric growth habit. The foliage is oval to slightly lance-shaped, often displaying subtle silver flecking and a gentle sheen. As it matures, this species becomes a graceful, full vine that looks stunning cascading or climbing.
Native to the tropical forests of Southeast Asia, H. 'Nathalie' thrives in bright, indirect light with warm temperatures and steady humidity. Provide a chunky, well-draining mix and allow the plant to dry slightly between waterings. It’s a reliable grower and rewards stable conditions with clusters of fragrant, pink, star-shaped blooms.
