Variegated Alocasia Macrorrhiza Aureas are famous for their beautiful bright yellow and cream splattering. They grow best in bright, indirect light but will survive in full shade; however, too much shade can cause variegation to fade over time.
Avoid direct sunlight. Water your plant regularly during the growing season, and always keep the soil evenly moist but not soggy. Alocasia plants require less water during the winter when it’s dormant. These plants grow best in high humidity and warm temperatures between 70 degrees Fahrenheit – 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
